Dante (DmC)
Heroic Male Human/Otherworldly
Upkeep: 6/Week
Min Bid: 76 GP

Team:

Dante, but you can call him Donte the demon killer, is as he appears in DmC, with access to all his demon arms, angel arms, and ranged weapons, fully upgraded. His Devil Trigger may be used only if he has a full gauge, which starts empty, but will not fling enemies into the air helplessly for no reason and only offers limited benefits to stats and regeneration as in the gameplay.

Terrain: The Pier - The site of the battle with the hunter in Stage 1 of DmC. A fair is occurring, and all rides such as ferris wheels and the like are in live operation. The area is in a limbo state, complete with all features of the DARK AMBIANCE that accompanies the limbo state in DmC, but no demons will appear.

But you can call me Dante the demon killer! Has a nice ring to it, don't you think? (Passive) - No one gives a shit who Dante is-- they just want to get rid of him. All abilities with negative effects may target Dante and will function as though he was an eligible target, even if he's KOed or on the wrong team to be targeted by the ability, and all single target abilities with positive effects used on him will fail without going on recharge. Abilities with both effects are considered negative for this passive. In addition, all mercenaries on the enemy team without the Too Easy passive gain a copy of the following Trigger upon declaration, whenever Dante is rosterable.

Fuck You! (Trigger) - Whenever this mercenary targets Dante with an ability, they will be unable to control their rage. The ability used will gain an additional week of cooldown (even if Dante isn't rostered), and the mercenary will demand to be rostered this week, injuring a random mercenary on their team if they're not. This ability may trigger multiple times per week and will do so when abilities are retargeted as well.

Fuck You! (Pre-Battle) - Once every 4 weeks, Dante will show some of that wit that made him an ace demon killer. A pre-selected single target enemy Start of Battle ability will instead target Dante. This ability may be declared during rosters for an additional week of recharge, and Dante must be rostered if able upon using this ability.

Fuck YOUUUUUUUU! (Trigger) - This ability triggers after rosters have been revealed, and may do so even if Dante is unrostered or KOed. If Fuck You! Triggered on a mercenary targeted by Fuck You!, the targeted mercenary will get the last word. If the mercenary was not rostered, they will force themselves to be rostered. They will eject random mercenaries from the roster to accommodate them. In their frothing rage, they will start the match vomiting violently for the first 30 seconds of battle, even if they would normally be incapable of doing so.

UPGRADES:

(Ability Upgrade; 10 EXP)

Fuck You! may be used even if Dante is KOed, and may be declared during rosters without the extra week of recharge.

(Ability Upgrade; 5 EXP)

Fuck You! may be declared up to three times in a wartime, for an additional week of recharge each time (declaring it during rosters will only require one extra week of recharge total, if applicable). Fuck YOUUUUUUUU! may still only trigger once though, with the mercenary to trigger on being chosen with roster choice.

(Character Upgrade; 5 EXP)

He starts with a full Devil Trigger gauge and Devil Trigger may be used freely if he has the meter, but will not fling enemies into the air helplessly for no reason and only offers limited benefits to stats and regeneration as in the gameplay.

(New Start of Battle; 15 EXP)

Devil Trigger (Start of Battle - Limited Use 3) - Once every 5 weeks, Dante may activate a fully powered up Devil Trigger at the start of the fight. The entire enemy team will start the match being flung into the air, floating upwards slowly for the first 10 seconds of the fight, as well as Dante gaining the full benefits of Devil Trigger during that time. The enemy team may attack or defend freely as well as they normally could in the air, but has no control of their movement during this time.
