Ryu is as seen in the endgame of Breath of Fire 3, equipped with the Royal Sword, Divine Helm, Laquer Shield, and Shaman's Ring. He has all of his abilities except Raise Dead and Resurrect, master skills, enemy skills, or accession. 

Ryu is as seen in the endgame of Breath of Fire 3, equipped with the Royal Sword, Divine Helm, Laquer Shield, and Shaman's Ring, and has combined the genes of <MERC>, <MERC>, and <MERC> to create a powerful Dragon hybrid form with aspects from the three. He may freely transform between normal and dragon form, and has all abilities except for Raise Dead and Resurrect, master skills, or enemy skills. He also has an <ELEMENT>-based breath/claw attack, as well as a X% boost to all parameters and <GENE PASSIVES/CUSTOMS/SOULS/BATTLE WRITE-UP WEAPON>

Terrain: Desert of Death - As seen in Breath of Fire 3, the intense heat and nigh endless expanse makes it earn its namesake and any attempts to cross it during the day is suicidal. Unfortunately, it is daytime, but the teams start a moderate distance away from each other, and lose enough to see one another at the start of the fight, making death in the desert come sooner than usual. No monsters are present.

 

Dragon Genes (On Purchase) - Ryu starts with two genes from random 1/week mercenaries (chosen from all released in the game) on purchase.

 

Dragon Genes (Passive) - Each week, if rostered, Ryu will obtain the genes of 3 random mercenaries from the entire enemy team (not just rosterable mercenaries) on a victory, 1 on a loss. These genes will be stored for future use with his Accession ability. Any genes he already has will be rerolled if possible, and if not possible he will simply store a duplicate. 

Accession (Pre-Battle) - Once every 4 weeks, Ryu may expend 3 of his stored genes and increase his upkeep by 2 for the week to use his Accession ability. In addition to becoming a dragon and choosing an element from Flame, Frost, Thunder, Shadow, Radiant to gain a breath and claw attack, he may gain any of the following benefits from each gene for this wartime-- Ryu may make these choices as though the mercenaries were fully upgraded. 

- The mercenary's passive.
- One of Soma's Bullet Souls that the mercenary would give
- One of Soma's Enhancement Souls the mercenary would give (Ryu's upkeep will not increase above 7 as a result of any upkeep increases)
- One of the mercenary's customizations
- A weapon from the mercenary's write-up
- Use of a non-limited use ability from the mercenary with a 1 week or less recharge. 

In addition, he will receive bonus to parameters equal to 15% * the highest upkeep mercenary's genes used.


UPGRADES:

(Character Upgrade; 5 EXP)

May use Raise Dead. Gear setup becomes Royal Sword, Dragon Shield, Dragon Helm, and Soul Ring.

(Ability Upgrade; 20 EXP)

Accession's cooldown is reduced by a week, and Ryu may KO an ally, and further injure them if they were not rosterable, when using Accession to get the benefit of their gene when using Accession. This gene will not contribute to the parameter boost. 

(Ability Upgrade; 10 EXP)

Ryu will obtain one extra gene from his passive on a win or a loss. He will also gain half of the genes he normally would even if he wasn't rostered.

(New Start of Battle; 15 EXP)

Bonebreak (Start of Battle) - Once every four weeks, Ryu will use his Bonebreak attack on a pre-selected enemy mercenary, damaging them and breaking their dominant arm.
