Time Kompression (Pre-battle) - Once every four weeks, Ultimecia may compress the ability phase into its most basic form, choosing one of the following.
- All non-removal Start of Battle abilities declared this week will gain Pre-Battle timing, with the merc using the ability appearing to use the ability during the match topic and disappearing immediately afterwards if necessary. This will not affect abilities that have already been declared. - All other Pre-Battle abilities declared this week, aside from side-topic abilities, removals, and those that must be declared before deferring, will gain Start of Battle timing, with any effects that have already occurred from affected abilities (including Triggers) being undone until the Start of Battle phase where they will resolve as though they were Start of Battles.
- Peacetime abilities on both teams also gain Start of Battle or Pre-Battle timing when this is used, and can only affect mercenaries or teams in the match. Abilities that reference bidding cannot be used.
Additionally all terrains may be bid on for this match by either team, with all terrains from the defender getting the +3 bonus, regardless of who bid on it.
UPGRADES:
(Ability Upgrade; 15 EXP)
This will affect abilities that have already been declared when converting Start of Battles to Pre-Battles. Any mercenaries who declared an ability before Time Kompression may avoid the affects of Time Kompression by choosing to KO and Injure themselves when sending rosters, cancelling the ability use and removing its recharge.

(New Pre-Battle/Trigger Ability; 25 EXP)
Temporal Nullification (Pre-Battle) - Once every three weeks, a version of Ultimecia from the future can appear, and prevent a preselected enemy mercenary from using any of their abilities, cancelling any they have already declared, and causing their customisation (if they have one) to be randomised. Neutralise the merc now, and they'll never be a threat again!
Self Fulfilling Prophecy (Trigger) - The thing with time travel, by trying to change the course of history you invariably end up being the harbinger of your own downfall. The next time the two teams meet when the mercenary that was targeted in Temporal Nullification is rosterable, the mercenary will have all of their abilities available for use, even if they should have been on recharge. If an ability that was on recharge is not used in this fight, it will revert back to the recharge it would have been on if the Trigger had never activated.
