Zack Fair (Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII)

Team: Boko United (Boko)

 

Zack Fair is as seen in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII equipped with his Buster Sword and Divine Slayer. He has all buffing Magic materia, all Command Materia, and the Dash Independent Materia. His Digital Mind Wave limits will not be randomized and can be used when he'd get a limit break. He cannot use Air Strike, Summons, chocobo limits, or attacks that cause status effects/death.

Terrain: Outside of Midgar - The jagged area where Zack made his last stand. Two main levels, separated by a series of rocky 'steps' allowing access between the two.

 

The Price of Freedom (Pre-Battle) - Once every 6 weeks, Zack will take the brunt of ALL damaging and KO abilities directed at his team by the enemy team this wartime, intercepting any future affected abilities, along with already declared Start of Battles. He must be rostered if able when using this ability, will not be reduced below 10% health no matter how much of a beating he takes, and will not be KOed the first two times he's KOed this wartime (though if any KOs are prevented in this way he will start at the minimum 10% health). If any abilities would be redirected towards Zack as a result of this ability or he was KOed once this wartime, he will start battle near the enemy team. If no abilities are redirected, reduce the cooldown on this ability by 3 weeks. This ability can only be used as Zack's only declared ability of the week, and he will not gain the benefits of any abilities used by his team the wartime he uses it.

UPGRADES:

(New Peacetime; 15 EXP)

Zack, The Puppy (Peacetime) - Zack is always eager to go on any mission, to prove that he has what it takes to be a hero, like Sephiroth. (Whoops.) Once every 3 weeks, you can tell Zack that he's going out on a mission and he'll be so excited that he'll join in on EVERY mission that week, joining any and all side topics a member of your team participates in, as an assist. He will be subject to the same penalties for losing as the merc he is assisting. In the event he is KO'd by a side-topic, he will not join future side topics that week.

Gains access to all magic materia over just buffs.

SQUATS (Start of Battle) - Once every four weeks, Zack can challenge a random post rosters enemy mercenary to the most grueling of training exercises: Squats. Zack, professional squatter that he is, will only miss the first 15 seconds of battle getting in his training regimen. The other merc, however, is not so lucky. It takes them 30 seconds to complete their Squats, and their legs will be tremendously sore and sluggish for the remainder of the fight, even if that wouldn't make sense given their body.
