Neclord is as seen in Suikoden II, with all of his attacks shown in Suikoden I and Suikoden II. He retains his extreme resistance to damage from non-holy based magic and weapons from the Moon Rune, as well as any attacks seen in the gameplay granted by the rune. However, he will lose these resistances if struck by the Star Dragon Sword and cannot otherwise use the rune for curses or anything else.

Terrain: Neclord's Castle - The massive gothic styled castle as seen in Suikoden 1. No monsters are present and access to areas outside the castle is banned.

Star Dragon Sword (Passive) - Somehow that damn sword always manages to be a thorn in Neclord's side, and Neclord's opponent in any sidetopics will come to battle wielding the Star Dragon Sword. Further, during the opponent's ability phase they may choose one of their mercenaries to bring the Star Dragon Sword into battle, provided Neclord is rostered. If the chosen mercenary isn't rostered and Neclord is, a random opposing post-rosters mercenary will come into battle wielding the sword instead. The Star Dragon Sword retains its sentience and can (and will) freely communicate with anyone in the fight, though it will not otherwise act of its own will. It acts as an ideal teammate but will, however, refuse to be wielded by anyone other than its chosen wielder for the fight.

My My, How Rude Of You To Show Up At a Wedding With All Those Weapons. (Results) - Once every 3 weeks, Neclord may name a pre-selected female mercenary from the opposing team as his next bride. He will challenge the female mercenary to a duel on their terrain using standard sidetopic rules. If Neclord is victorious, the mercenary will join Neclord's team at the beginning the next week's Peacetime as Neclord's assist for the week. (If Neclord's team was victorious in Wartime, he may forego the battle for an extra 2 weeks of recharge.) The mercenary will be unable to use any rechargeable abilities, will be unable to be rostered in any fashion other than being Neclord's assist, and will have their classification changed to undead for the week. The mercenary will return to their original team at the start of next week's results. This ability counts as both a possession and a seduction, and it must be declared with at least 6 hours remaining in Results.

UPGRADES:

(Ability Upgrade; 25 EXP)

The accursed sword will not choose a random post rosters mercenary if the mercenary chosen during the ability phase is not rostered. Further, the sword will not appear in any side topics.

(Ability Upgrade; 20 EXP)

When using My My... Neclord may challenge a female on the opposing team even if he's not victorious. Further, if Neclord's team was victorious he may forego the duel and automatically be declared the duel's victor for an additional two weeks of recharge. 

(New Ability; 15 EXP)

Blue Moon Curse (Pre-Battle) - Once every 6 weeks, Neclord may sacrifice up to three mercenaries on his team (KOing them, and further injuring them for two weeks if they were not rosterable today) to place a curse on a pre-selected opposing mercenary's terrain. If the terrain is chosen, a number of random unbought tier-eligible mercenaries equal to the combined upkeep of the sacrificed mercenaries will join the battle as a third party along with Neclord, who will defect to the third party team as a possession at the start of the battle. The third party mercenaries will be rolled after rosters are revealed, will act subserviently to Neclord in battle and will have their classification changed to undead for the week. If Neclord's team wins his leader is considered to have won the match. Neclord may bid on the terrain as though it was his own this wartime, and the cooldown on this ability is reduced by 3 weeks if the terrain isn't chosen.
