Morrigan

Page history last edited by Lopen 8 years, 4 months ago

Morrigan (Dragon Age: Origins)
Neutral Female Human
Upkeep: 3/Week
Min Bid: 56 GP

Team: League of Transients (KanzarisKelshen)

Morrigan is as seen in Dragon Age: Origins and Inquisition (though she has not drank from the Well of Sorrows), with typical endgame equipment and 3 Lyrium Potions. She has mastered the first three spells of the Lightning, Cold, Shapeshifter, <Trees> spell trees, and Mind Blast.

Terrain: The Fade - The ethereal Dream Realm/afterlife of the world of Dragon Age. The magical power of all combatants are amplified substantially, though the exact specifications of how much depends on their willpower and they will not inherently be able to shapeshift. Everyone in the battle will be assumed able to manifest their gear and non-magical abilities normally.

Customization: Morrigan may master 3 of the following spell trees:

Fire
Earth
Healing
Enhancements
Glyphs
Summoning
Anti-Magic
Mana Alteration
Hexes
Draining

"I can be friendly when I desire to. Alas, desiring to be more intelligent does not make it so." (Pre-battle) - Once every other week, Morrigan will use some choice scathing remarks to uh... motivate?... an allied heroic mercenary. This will piss off the allied mercenary, causing one of the following effects at Morrigan's owner's choice:

- The mercenary takes back all abilities used today. All effects of any Start Of Battle abilities they've declared (including any triggers used in response to the ability) are reversed as if they never happened, and they will not go on recharge, but the mercenaries affected by this cannot use further abilities today.

- The mercenary will refuse to be rostered today. In its rage it'll carelessly leave all weapons/items chosen for its customization. Morrigan may give the items the mercenary chose for its customization to an allied mercenary of her choice for the week to bring to the battle, even if they have a customization of their own or no customization at all.

- The mercenary will leave and fight for the other team today, to return after results. It cannot use rechargeable abilities and it will still require a roster slot, but can be rostered regardless of tier, and does not have to be rostered. On the plus side, the opponent will have to pay the mercenary's upkeep for the week! This allegiance shift counts as a possession.

UPGRADES:

(Character Upgrade; 10 EXP)

Gets all spells from the spell trees chosen
Permanently add two trees from the custom to her write-up
Add Spirit Healer to customizations

(Ability Upgrade; 5 EXP)

I can be friendly when I desire to can be used on any allied mercenary, though will recharge 1 week quicker if used on a heroic mercenary. Multiple options may be used at once on the same merc for an additional week of recharge per option.

(New Trigger; 10 EXP)

Now we threaten priests? How fun! (Trigger) - In a rare show of approval from Morrigan, the first non-passive ability used by your team during wartime that targets an opposing heroic mercenary will be used without going on recharge, though it cannot be used again this wartime. The recharge on this ability is equal to the recharge of the ability that had its recharge removed.

Admin Rulings:

Morrigan may not send an unrosterable above tier mercenary to fight for the other team while Protester Power (or similar abilities) are in effect, as it's an ability that's making the above tier mercenary rosterable without paying down, which is denied by the ability (11/17/2016, Week 48)
