Rydia (Final Fantasy IV)
Heroic Female Human
Upkeep: 3/Week
Min Bid: 59 GP

Team: No Lynch Kru (Tombolo)

Rydia is as she appears in Final Fantasy IV and The After Years. She is equipped with typical endgame equipment. She may not use Meteo, Death, Break, Tornado, or any summons aside from _______.

Terrain: Village of Mist - An ordinary RPG village with all of its inhabitants cleared out. All buildings are intact and undamaged.

Customization: Rydia may bring one of the following summons into battle. It also changes the effects of the dramatic summon trigger if it goes off.

- Mist Dragon: Uses Radiant Breath. If Dramatic Summon triggers the summon will not occur at the beginning of the battle and Rydia will miss any start of battle effects. Rydia will not appear in the battle until the teams meet, at which point she will join her team and the effects will occur as normal.
- Ifrit: Uses Hellfire. A random enemy of an upkeep chosen sent with rosters hit by Dramatic Summon (or a random mercenary hit if no such exist) will start the match on fire.
- Shiva: Uses Diamond Dust. Any enemies hit by Dramatic Summon will additionally have their legs frozen immobile to the ground for the first 5 seconds of the match.
- Ramuh: Uses Judgment Bolt. Any enemies hit by Dramatic Summon will drop all their weapons from a sudden jolt.
- Titan: Uses Gaia's Wrath. Any enemies hit by Dramatic Summon are knocked prone.
- Asura: Can randomly cast Curaga or Protectga on the party. Dramatic Summon cannot trigger if this is chosen.

Dramatic Summon (Trigger) - Once every three weeks, if Rydia is rostered, she has a chance to summon the Mist Dragon to bail her team out of a sticky situation at the Start of the Battle. This has a chance of activating for each of the following that is true. (these percentages are cumulative)

The opposing team uses an ability - 5% per ability used
An allied mercenary who is eligible for today's fight is KOed or Injured - 20% per mercenary.
The enemy team's highest upkeep mercenary rostered in the match is higher than your highest upkeep mercenary rostered - 20% per upkeep.
Opposing team outnumbers you - 10% per mercenary/assist more than your team's
Defending - 15%
On the opposing team's terrain - 15%
The terrain chosen for today's battle was affected by an opposing ability - 40%

If triggered, the Mist Dragon will hit each opposing mercenary (and their assists, if applicable) that added to Dramatic Summon's chance (either through their ability use, causing KOs, or their upkeep) with her Radiant Breath attack. Enemy mercenaries will start the battle with damage taken from this attack. (If no such mercenaries are rostered, it will hit a random post-rosters mercenary instead.)

UPGRADES:

(Character Upgrade; 15 EXP)

Rydia access to Meteo and added customization options. These summons alter her Dramatic Summon in the following ways:
- Leviathan: Uses Tsunami. Any enemy mercenaries hit will start the match soaked in water.
- Odin: Uses Zantetsuken. Dramatic Summon will only hit one random post rosters mercenary if it triggers, KOing the mercenary. Rydia will bring the Mist Dragon to battle for her battle write-up if this customization is chosen.
- Bahamut: Uses Megaflare. Dramatic Summon will not hit any low tier mercenaries if it triggers.

(Ability Upgrade; 25 EXP)

If Dramatic Summon triggers in a match with mid or high tier mercenaries rostered on the opposing team it will instead hit all opposing mercenaries instead of its usual targets by choosing to do so while sending rosters. Dramatic Summon may also be declared as a Start of Battle to force Dramatic Summon to trigger-- it will only hit its natural targets in this case. Odin may not be chosen in either case, and either use of Dramatic Summon will increase its recharge by one week if it successfully triggers, and Rydia will be further injured if she deigns to hit all mercenaries.

(New Start of Battle; 15 EXP)

Feymarch (Start of Battle) - Once every four weeks, Rydia will send one pre-selected mercenary to the Feymarch. They will arrive to battle 30 seconds late and will have aged to be ten years older than normal. All of their weapons and equipment that are not biological in nature will still function the same.
