Sonic is as he appears in the Sonic series and Smash 4 (minus game mechanics), in his base form at his canon levels. He does not have any emeralds, Chaos Control, or weird things like that. 

Terrain: Green Hill Zone - Loop-the-loops, hidden springs, deadly spikes, and an abundant supply of power rings. Though others might find it bizarre, Sonic and company are right at home.

 

You're Too Slow! (Pre-Battle) - Once every 5 weeks, whenever you declare abilities first, Sonic may take action. Sonic will copy a pre-selected non-Limited Use non-Trigger ability from a pre-selected opposing mercenary usable this wartime, and the ability will be unusable by the enemy team this week. In Sonic's haste, the copied ability's timing will be changed to Pre-battle, and if the ability has any pre-selected mercenary targets, it will target a random post-rosters mercenary on the appropriate team instead.

UPGRADES:

(Ability Upgrade; 10 EXP)

You're Too Slow! will afflict the targeted mercenary with an uncurable slow status. It may also be used even when you've gone second and/or on a mercenary with no abilities that can be copied, though Sonic will not copy an ability in this case. 

(New Peacetime; 5 EXP)

C'mon, Step It Up! (Peacetime) - Once every 3 weeks, if at least 10 minutes have passed in Peacetime, Sonic may declare that a pre-selected team has had enough time to do their Peacetime abilities. No further Peacetimes may be declared by the team this week. (This will not affect Peacetime abilities that could not be declared in the first 10 minutes of Peacetime.)

Sev-- Twenty Rings In Hand (Pre-Battle) : Once every 6 weeks, Sonic will start as Super Sonic for the week's battle. However, the transformation will only last for 20 seconds, after which point he will revert to normal Sonic, and 50 rings will scatter throughout the terrain. He may recollect 50 rings to transform for 20 seconds.

When this ability is used, Sonic's upkeep is increased to 7 for the week. If used in a low tier match and Sonic is rostered, you must pay 28 GP. If used in a mid tier match and Sonic is rostered, you must pay 14 GP.


Super Sonic is as he appears in the Sonic series of video games. However, his transformation will only last 20 seconds after first encountering any enemy in battle, after which point he will revert to normal Sonic (as he appears in the Sonic series), and 50 rings will scatter throughout the terrain in distribution similar to what you'd expect in a Sonic level. He can repeatedly collect the 50 scattered rings to transform again for 20 seconds, though the collected rings will not protect him from damage nor scatter upon Sonic being hit.
